Destiny’s educational goal is to work with teachers and schools to bring Jewish history to life in an exciting and interactive way. To educate, inspire and instill a sense of pride and purpose in being Jewish. To demonstrate how each and every Jew is important in the big picture of Jewish History and Destiny.

HOW?

By creating and distributing, superbly produced, films - and innovative, effective educational guides and materials for use by teachers and students.
By providing dynamic, interactive educational websites on each of Destiny’s projects.
By working with you the teachers and schools, to test and improve our materials - and to plan future projects that are of real value in Jewish education.
By offering teacher training and seminars- both in Israel and abroad.

HOW CAN THE FILMS AND MATERIALS BE USED?

By being selective with the content, teachers can use the educational guides and materials in three ways:

To teach self-worth and Jewish Identity through Jewish History
To teach Jewish History in the context of World History.
To teach Judaic Studies.

As you will see, our educational guides are in various stages of completion and development. Your input will be invaluable. Please give us your comments and suggestions - so we can make the materials as good and effective as they can be.

Faith & Fate

The Story of the Jewish People in the Twentieth Century

Based on Berel Wein’s book, Faith & Fate is a 12 part documentary series that is presently in production. It is the dramatic Story of the Jewish People in the 20th Century - a century of contradiction, confusion, and massive change. It is the study of the human experience during a time period of terrible and remarkable contrasts: both progressive and reactionary, forward looking and frighteningly regressive. Faith & Fate focuses on how the events in world history impacted on the Jews - and how the Jews impacted on world history. A study of how a people whose survival has defied the ravages and challenges of over 40 centuries. It includes original historical footage and photographs rarely seen.

DVD’ s are now available on Episode 1 (1900 - 1910) - and soon, Episode 2 (1910 - 1920)
An interactive educational website and educators guide, based on the series and the first two episodes, is in development and Beta testing with educators.

Heralds of Destiny

A Series of Illustrated Animated Dramas

What impact did they have on Jewish Survival & Destiny.

The first two productions in the series, Rashi and Rambam, are available on DVD in English and Hebrew.

A Light After The Dark Ages

The Illustrated and Animated Story of Rabbi Shlomo Ben Yitzchaki

Rashi was a Scholar, Rabbi, Master Biblical Commentator, Vintner and Leader of French and Ashkenazi Jewry. Rashi is the most widely read and studied Biblical and Talmudic commentator in the world to-day.
The DVD with “The Making of Rashi” Documentary, CD Study Guide and Music CD are available
The interactive educational website and educators guide (based on the CD) are in production.
