  • What do you think it means to be A Light after the Dark Ages?
  • What is the Hebrew word for “light?” Where is this word found in the Torah?
CLASS ACTIVITIES

  • Choose two p’sukim from the Torah that include the Hebrew word OHR (Light).
    For each pasuk, write a paragraph explaining what OHR means in the pasuk.
    Draw a picture to illustrate the meaning of the Hebrew word OHR (Light).

  • Have your students imagine they are Jews living in the path of the Crusades.
